Can I smoke inside Neybor houses or apartments?
Smoking isn’t allowed indoors, for everyone’s comfort.
But many houses have terraces or gardens, perfect spots to step out for a cigarette.
Are there any extra fees I should know about?
Just a few one-time fees to keep everything smooth from move-in to move-out:
- An application fee when you book your place. This is a one-time fee that you may pay to grant you access to a range of community benefits, including but not limited to: access to a global community mobile application, special discounts with partners, global events, flexibility to move between different hubs, etc. The fee never needs to be paid again, as long as you remain a Member of Neybor continuously and without interruption in your tenancy
- Check-out fees covering the inventory and final cleaning of your unit. They will be deducted from your deposit at the check-out.
- Coliving rooms: €200
- Studios & 1-bedroom apartments: €300
- 2-bedroom apartments: €350
- 3-bedroom apartments: €400
- 4-bedroom apartments: €450
How many people will I live with in a coliving house?

The number of rooms sets the tone:
- Small houses (5–8 rooms): a cozy, family-like atmosphere where everyone knows each other.
- Medium houses (9–13 rooms): the perfect mix of comfort and community.
- Large houses (14–19 rooms): lively, social homes where there’s always someone to share a chat, a meal, or a laugh with.
Can I decorate or personalize my room?
Your room is yours to keep cozy and personal, photos, art, little things that make you smile can be hung with our installed hooks.

Is it easy to register my address (domiciliation) in Brussels?
Yes, and it is legally required if you stay long-term. In Belgium, registering at the local town hall (commune/gemeente) is a mandatory step to get your national registration number, open a local bank account, and finalize your work paperwork.
While finding a landlord who allows address registration can be a nightmare on the traditional market, Neybor provides fully compliant, official lease agreements that allow you to register your address immediately and hassle-free at any of our properties. We make the Belgian administrative start as smooth as possible.
